(Registrations for lunch have now closed, however if you’d like to attend this event, and bring your own lunch, please email us at [email protected])
If you are interested in pursuing a rewarding career in cybersecurity, this is the can’t-miss event of the year! Join SecureSet for a fun and information packed day of cybersecurity workshops and presentations, both live and webcast from across the country.
Get your hands nice and dirty with an introduction to Linux. This is not your typical lecture-based workshop! Following this fun and interactive introduction to cybersecurity, you will learn what cybersecurity employers are looking for and why they seek out SecureSet graduates when hiring, when several of our hiring partners take the stage for our Hiring Partner panel. Meet SecureSet alumni face-to-face and learn more about their career journeys and what a day-in-the-life of a cyber professional is really like. Get all your pressing SecureSet questions answered, such as “Will I get a job,” “What will I learn,” “How does SecureSet compare to other cyber education providers,” and “How do I pay for this?” through live QA with our Campus, Admissions, Finance, and Career Services teams. We will close the day with a fun and exciting challenge at our instructor-led, Capture the Flag hack-a-thon!
To get the full hands-on experience in our Introduction to Linux workshop, you will need to be able to work in Linux on your machine. If you don’t have Linux installed, we can provide instructions and assistance to get set up to participate!
We will be providing lunch, so please don’t forget that pre-registration is required for this event.
