Denver War Games: Systems Security 2—Windows Security

Stop hackers from Windows shopping. This session will expose you to the components and configurations for the Windows operating system. Security comes through an understanding of the tools that you have to defend, and most the likely points of attack. Prepare yourself by learning more about the Windows Operating System.

Instructor Bio
JC Boysha is a full-time instructor at the SecureSet Denver campus. A generalist of over 10 years, JC has helped companies navigate the ISO-27001 process, maintain compliance with a handful of standards, perform vulnerability assessments, and built circuits for readdressing sensors on the fly in live environments. JC has also worked on helpdesks, development teams, leading projects and teams, and leading a CIRT.

Suggested Experience
While a basic familiarity with computers and/or programming is helpful, it is not required in order to enjoy these events. Beginners are welcome!

There is a paid lot at the corner of 21st and Blake. Meters are easily accessible for $1.00 per hour. If you go north of 23rd on Blake, Market or Welton, there is street parking for free and you can walk in.
