{Virtual} Cybersecurity Capture the Flag for All Levels

Let the cybersecurity games begin! Beginner friendly cyber CTF event for adults, teens, and everyone in between!

About this Event

You might be stuck at home all day – whether it’s working from home, caring for family, or keeping up with your high school or college studies. If you’re looking for a break from the routine, we’ve got you covered!

Put your tech skills to the test in our Virtual Capture the Flag (CTF) for All Ages game. This event is a fun challenge for adults, teens, and everyone in between!

What’s a CTF?

Capture the Flag (CTF) is a fun and competitive event full of cybersecurity puzzles. Our CTF environment contains four different domains: Linux, Application Security, Cryptography, and Steganography. Within each domain, there are multiple levels that build off of each other. In order to get through Level 2, you’ll need information from Level 1. The first level is the easiest to hack, with each level getting progressively harder. You can work individually or as a team. It’s up to you!

No cybersecurity or programming experience? No problem!

There’s nothing wrong with being a cyber n00b. Everyone starts their quest somewhere. We want everyone to have fun regardless of their level and so our Capture the Flag is divided into groups based on skill level.

Our Beginners Group will start at the first level and the instructor will help guide you through setup, navigating the environment, and learning the basics of Capture the Flag—it’s like hacking with training wheels!

For all our loyal participants who have already been to one of our CTFs and are continuing their quest for the flag, we also offer an Intermediate Group and an Advanced Group. Following a quick introduction, these groups can get moving right out of the gate.

Don’t forget to indicate the group you’d like to join when registering for the event.
