This 101 will dive into Microsoft PowerShell. PowerShell is the scripting language and shell framework that is primarily used on Windows computers and can now can be installed on Apple and Linux systems. PowerShell has been around for more than 10 years and is an inevitable replacement for the CLI (command line interface); it’s a versatile tool to learn for admin tasks, server configurations and much more.
Matt McDonell is an IT Security Professional specializing in Windows, Applications, Server and Virtual deployments. Server hardening, Compliance regulations, Vulnerability Scanning and Assessment. Matt has been in the IT industry for over 18 years, starting in Help Desk, and now serves as the lead instructor at SecureSet Denver.
