As a Senior IT and security consultant with over 20 years of experience, Alain Morgado has extensive knowledge in conducting network, web application, and wireless penetration tests with enterprise organizations. Alain holds the following certifications: CISSP, GSEC, CEH, OSCP, Sec+, and CCNA.

Ben Rollin
As a Security Consultant with over 8 years’ experience, Ben Rollin specializes in security assessments ranging from IT audit/security controls and configuration management reviews to network and web application penetration testing against large enterprise environments. Ben holds the following certifications: OSCP, OSCE, eWPT, eCPPT, eWPTX, CISSP, CISA, PMP.

+ Laptop – must download Kali on a VM https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-vm-vmware-virtualbox-image-download/
+ If you need assistance with Kali setup, please arrive 5:30pm for us to assist you
+ Wifi is available
+ Do not forget your chargers/cords!

Public parking is available in the Palm Parking Garage. There are two-hour parking spots available along the street as well. The main entrance to SecureSet is located on the patio at the East side of the old Don Vicente hotel. You will see an open black gate at the back-right corner of the East patio. Take the stairs to the second-floor patio and enter through the French doors.


If you consider yourself a cybersecurity n00b, then Hacking 101 is for you. Each event will feature a hands-on workshop designed to boost your cyber-skills. Hacking 101 is an opportunity for you to gain technical knowledge and find out if cybersecurity is something you’re passionate about. No experience is required. Just show up and learn something new!
