This 101 is designed for those who may or may not have some tech skills, but have very limited knowledge in regards to proper cybersecurity asset management. Asset Management consists of tracking network assets and monitoring/maintaining things of value to an entity or group. One of the most compelling reasons for a robust IT asset management program is Cybersecurity.
Matt McDonell is an IT Security Professional specializing in Windows, Applications, Server and Virtual deployments. Server hardening, Compliance regulations, Vulnerability Scanning and Assessment. Matt has been in the IT industry for over 18 years, starting in Help Desk and now serves as the lead instructor at SecureSet Denver.

There is a paid lot at the corner of 21st and Blake. Meters are easily accessible for $1.00 per hour. If you go north of 23rd on Blake, Market or Welton, there is street parking for free and you can walk in.
If you consider yourself a cybersecurity n00b, then Hacking 101 is for you. Each event will feature a hands-on workshop designed to boost your cyber-skills. Hacking 101 is an opportunity for you to gain technical knowledge and find out if cybersecurity is something you’re passionate about. No experience is required. Just show up and learn something new!
